Bubble Independent Newsletter began as a project based out of the Royal Society for Public Health’s Young Health Champions (YHC) programme. This programme is, in essence, an initiative created to improve young people’s understanding of public health and wellbeing, along with their own health and that of their peers. This information is delivered in the form of three mandatory units, covering health improvement and wellbeing, health services, and an independent venture to deliver a health improvement campaign. Bubble is the product of our endeavour in the latter case.
Our mission is to gather perspective and experiences from young people across Britain, as well as professionals in health fields, in order to raise awareness for various health elements or concerns, and perhaps even act as a platform from which to launch campaigns to improve this. We are not trained professionals ourselves – we will never give direct advice, but signposting to the relevant authorities is a large part of the YHC role, and we will include it in our articles when we can.
Our team is 3 strong, all based in London. Even within a single city, it’s possible to see so many different views and stories because of the diversity of the culture – but where possible, we also want to aim to consider other parts of Britain, as well, when creating articles and stories. Our hope and aspiration is that Bubble will be an ongoing and persistent project and platform on which to signpost, raise awareness, and act as a base for further efforts.

If you would like to contact us, whether that be to provide feedback on an article, or to actively participate in our audience-related features, you can reach us at the following email. We check the email at least a few times per week. However, bear in mind that we cannot offer direct advice – only signposting to people with professional experience in the relevant subject.
(We haven’t figured out specific business emails just yet, but hey, Google should do the job well for now.)
